Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 27 May 2026

Last Updated: 27 May 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Rovion Games ("we", "us", "our", or the "Company") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile game Samosa Rush (the "Game"). By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Game and stop using it.

1. Who We Are

Rovion Games is an independent game studio operating under the laws of India. You can contact us at support@roviongames.com for any privacy-related questions, requests, or complaints.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information automatically when you use the Game.

(a) Device and technical information. Device model, manufacturer, and operating system version. Device language, time zone, and approximate region (derived from IP address, not precise GPS). Screen resolution, available memory, and graphics hardware. Network type (Wi-Fi or cellular). App version, installation source, and crash reports. A resettable advertising identifier provided by your operating system (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS), if you have not opted out at the operating-system level.

(b) Gameplay and analytics data. Events related to your gameplay such as levels reached, customers served, items cooked, in-app purchases attempted or completed, and time spent in different parts of the Game. Session start and end times, frequency, and duration. A pseudonymous identifier generated by Firebase Analytics that is not linked to your real-world identity. Aggregated user properties such as device tier, age band, and consent status.

(c) Age information (self-declared). When you first launch the Game, we ask you to confirm whether you are under 13 years of age, or the applicable age of digital consent in your region. We store this band (such as "under 13" or "13 plus") locally on your device and use it to comply with child-privacy laws. We do not collect your exact date of birth.

(d) Advertising data. Whether you watched a rewarded ad, viewed a banner, or saw an interstitial. Your consent decision for personalized versus non-personalized advertising. Your advertising identifier as described above.

(e) Crash and diagnostic data. If the Game crashes, we collect the crash stack trace, device state at the time of the crash, and a pseudonymous device identifier so we can diagnose and fix the issue.

(f) Information you choose to provide. If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you send, including your name, email, and message contents. If you share content via the in-game share button, the operating system shares whatever you select.

(g) Google Play Games Services data. When you sign in with Google Play Games, we receive a pseudonymous Player ID issued by Google. We also store your save game data (such as game progress, virtual currency, upgrades, and settings) on Google's servers via the Saved Games API so you can resume play on other devices linked to the same Google account. We do not receive your Google account email, real name, or profile photo.

What we do not collect. Your real name, email (unless you contact us), phone number, exact location, photos, contacts, microphone audio, camera images, or any other content from your device beyond what is described above.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

To operate the Game, including running gameplay, saving your progress, and providing in-game features.

To improve the Game, including understanding which features players use, where players drop off, and how to make the Game more fun.

To show ads, including third-party ads provided by Google AdMob and its mediation partners. With your consent, we may show personalized ads.

To prevent fraud and abuse, including detecting cheating, exploits, automation, and violations of our Terms and Conditions.

To diagnose crashes and bugs, using crash reports to identify and fix problems.

For legal compliance, including meeting our obligations under applicable law and responding to lawful requests from authorities.

To communicate with you, only if you contact us first.

4. Children's Privacy

Samosa Rush is rated for a mixed audience under Google Play's Families policy. We use an in-app age screen to determine each user's age band.

For users under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region), we disable personalized advertising, limit data collection to what is strictly necessary to run the Game and ensure safety, and apply Google AdMob's "Tag For Child-Directed Treatment" (TFCD) and "Tag For Users under the Age of Consent" (TFUA) flags.

For users 13 and older, standard data collection applies, subject to your consent for personalized ads where required by law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described above. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at support@roviongames.com and we will delete it.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR / EU and UK Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your information are as follows.

Consent, for personalized advertising and any optional analytics.

Legitimate interest, for non-personalized analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention, and product improvement.

Contractual necessity, for providing the Game and managing in-app purchases.

Legal obligation, for tax, accounting, and compliance with lawful requests.

You can withdraw consent at any time through the in-game settings or by contacting us.
